RNZ still going strong - you might almost think that the prevailing NZ media view is that exorbitant, unfair, unregulated, profiteering costs are actually the fault of the people struggling to make ends meet to pay them, not the companies and politicians deliberately choosing to exploit people.
A few stats for NZ media and politicians to consider 👇 Petition: campaigns.consumer.org.nz/end-high-pow... #nzpol

A warm, dry, home, and affordable food and power are human rights. There are too many articles and too many politicians framing these things as easy to have if you just cut corners, vs. articles asking why these simple, basic, 101 things are not happening. My freezing “healthy” home this morning👇

Hi RNZ and the rest of NZ Media - please could you spend your time actually focusing on the politicians who are responsible for cold, damp, miserable homes and refuse to regulate the food and power oligarchies, instead of gleefully putting out these stupid articles like clockwork every year. #nzpol

This is starting to feel like another "Dead cat on the table" event. You know what we've stopped talking about? How National were using private communication channels to receive emails from corporate lobbyists which resulted in policy change extremely favourable to them.
These fucking patronising articles about turning off the TV and heated towel rails to save pennies piss me off so much Save money on your bills by voting for parties who will look after you and not themselves #nzpol
Let’s run our lives after 9pm to save on heating. The elderly should be nocturnal because it would save $$, or live in 1 room with a hot water bottle. No morning showers for the hoi polloi- like universities according to Government favourites - washing and housing should be for the elite. . #nzpol
