Happy Birthday Jodie Whittaker! A brilliant actor and our 13th Doctor! 💙💙 I remember the first Trailer of 13's run and thinking the song choice didn't work. Years ago, with my friend's mix of Dua Lipa's "Physical", I re-edited it. After the explosion is my fave. #DoctorWho

I don't normally talk about filmmaking in ads, but this is superb. Directing duo Bradley & Pablo MUST be fans of Edgar Wright. Apparently inspired by action / suspense thrillers, but this screams Wright's work. Even the VO reminds me of Pegg. This is my kind of editing. Love it.

Then there's this one, which was adapted from that previous Trailer, to make the edit more fast paced. This was back when I was experimenting. Again, it's VERY rough and not as well edited as newer videos. #DoctorWho

I personally love Jodie as 13 and she's a fantastic actor outside of Who too, in both "Broadchurch" and in "Adult Life Skills" (2016). #DoctorWho

Prior to that, before the real Trailer released, I made a series of vids using clips from the little that had been released, alongside footage from a show Jodie had been in at the time, coincidentally called "Trust Me". Not the best editing I've done, but here's the trailer: #DoctorWho

Another example of money grabbing, going after the smaller creatives and I can bet that they're unlikely to speak to the original writer. If by some miracle they do, they should pay them correctly and give them a job as a writer or supporting writer on the film.

Finally, here's the FIRST Trailer I made, which I think's one of my worst. However, I made it because there had been so much discourse around getting a female Doctor. So I used clips from "Trust Me" that highlighted Jodie's character struggling with not feeling like a real doctor. #DoctorWho

Carole Ann Ford's first original appearance in the unaired pilot episode of Doctor Who, which I think is a brilliant, more alien take on Susan. I think it would have worked well. NOTE: Correction, previous version was incorrectly labelled as "unaired". THIS is correct. #DoctorWho
