I have finally discovered where the dividing line between humanities and the social sciences really is.
Humanities articles must add -ies to nouns, such as "etiologies of quasi-masculine proto-liminalities".
Social science articles must use only 5 verbs: show, suggest, utilize, reveal & summarize.
