Online now: Patient-derived organoids predict personalized drug response and reveal alternative therapeutic options in glioblastoma
Park et al. show that patient-derived glioblastoma organoids faithfully recapitulate parental tumor features and predict clinical responses to temozolomide more accurately than current biomarkers, including MGMT status. This platform reveals heterogeneous resistance mechanisms and enables personalized drug screening, identifying lazertinib as a promising therapeutic option for temozolomide-resistant glioblastoma.
