Online now: Salmonella vector creates de novo parvovirus that reduces solid tumors and forms antitumor immune memory
Khanduja et al. demonstrate that virus-delivering Salmonella (VDS) carries the H-1 parvovirus genome directly into cancer cells, enabling de novo virion formation, potent tumor regression, and durable antitumor immunity. VDS overcomes systemic OV delivery barriers, reshapes the tumor microenvironment, and generates tumor-specific immune memory that prevents re-implantation.
