Re: my last share, it’s a very weird “worlds colliding” moment for me. I’ve known Sydney Smith since I was in my teens, I vividly remember him sketching the Rheostatics while they played at the Marquee when my sister took me out for my 19th birthday. Meanwhile, Kate is my actual (second) cousin.
I’ve never met her in person, we don’t have a relationship, but it’s still weird to me. I’d think it was a small world, but my sister is such a collector of people into her orbit that it shouldn’t be a surprise, even if this (probably?) wasn’t facilitated by her connection to the two of them.
