Brave move wearing white within his blast zone.
Thanks @kevinmkruse.bsky.social. These "kids" eventually become adults who still need our care. A lifetime of fails and wins awaits us all and it's exhausting.
Wise words...
I’m a priest
I’m from Chicago
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here
Oh, oh, oh, oh prieeeeest
"On Mother’s Day, I can think of no mother more deserving than a mother who had to give one back" Erma Bombeck
This is heartbreaking. And it’s nightmare fuel for those of us caring for a disabled child. These ghouls need to be stopped. And FTR, yelling shame at them is useless as they have none.

If you're the parent of a disabled kid, I just want to tell you I know it's hard and I know you feel like you're failing constantly, but you're doing it and you're doing the best you can and your kid absolutely loves you for it.
Check out a PREE PREVIEW of Session 1 of my Good Grieving video series, which begins today on Substack!
Over the next 2 weeks, I'll be releasing 15 10-minute videos on all sorts of grief-related topics.
I hope it will be an encouragement.

In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.
He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.
At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.
Wael died on Friday at age 30.
ICE caused his death.
They didn’t get to say goodbye.
