There are thousands and thousands of types of these little dudes, but I went with the common katydid. They are sometimes called longhorn grasshoppers because of their super long antennae.

I learned this week that inchworms are actually the caterpillars of the geometer moth. There are hundreds of types, but they all have the same adorable “inching” movement. That’s because their feet are all on their ends!
