First, who was CdP? Christine was the daughter of a physician & astrologer, Tommaso de Pizzano, from a well-established family in Bologna. She seems to have been born in Venice ca. 1364. Her father took a position as court astrologer in Paris and CdP lived the rest of her life in France.
