People like Hokit (and everyone involved with this cringey waste of taxpayer money) get so offended when people think they're stupid and bigoted and then they repeatedly confirm that they're both. What a horrible person.
Has cancel culture gone too far? Is wokeness run amok? These have been the defining concerns of a lot of nominally centrist media for the last few years.
Next week there will be a Thomas Chatterton Williams essay on how, somehow, this is just the woke right responding to identity politics.
