The Minneapolis Police Department is $23 Million Over Budget. How much is due to “double dipping” by Police Officers (who are basically committing fraud). Mayor Frey isn’t providing the oversight or leadership to prevent fraud in our city. A deep investigation is needed.
If you've been outdoors all weekend, you may just now be seeing new reports of crazy allegations against Brian O'Hara. Difficult to believe Mayor Frey didn't know there was a real problem when he renominated him.

This is such a dishonest corporate media frame of both side-ism. According to the (billionaire/Republican-owned) Strib "MN politicians" broke their promise to "soften their tone." Which totally ignores (and excuses ) that the ugliest, most violent rhetoric consistently comes from.......Republicans.
What did Mayor Frey know and when did he know it? And then what did Frey do about it? Will the (Republican/billionaire-owned) Strib ask this or pivot to "O'Hara's gone. Time to move on and blame the City Council."? How would Strib have handled this if it was Mayor Betsy Hodges---or Omar Fateh?
Alpha News might not be buying the Strib, but that crowd is firmly in control of the op-ed page.
