Some of the loudest voices for white nationalism in the US and the UK are Indian. They think that they can perform whiteness enough to save themselves.
They can't.
It’s genuinely galling to have very savvy people continuously demand we subsume our own thinking these people without a basic grasp of reality. I’m told that I *have* to ignore what I know for a “middle ground” with these people on abortion, immigration, Black people in college, etc. it’s an insult.
