FÉLIX GONZÁLEZ-TORRES died of AIDS in 1996. His work is a stark reminder of the toll AIDS epidemic took (& continues to take, even though treatment is far advanced) and was always meant to be political and poetic. Both/and. 4/4 #LGBTQ+Artists #PrideAbstractArtists #AbstractArtist #AbstractArt
