Still working on AstraX!! Doing cool QoL spacecraft editor stuff here, like marking modules that can be connected to and lots of tweening πŸš€ #indiedev #astrax
Placement of thrusters actually matters now. If you place them too close to the center of mass, they strafe vs rotate the ship. The editor now also allows you to configure which thruster is used when using which input
Some stuff I've been working on: docking points will attract each other, tractor beams for items, hard magnets that attract other ships or asteroids... going full sandbox here πŸš€ it's so much work though. Granted 0.8 will be awesome!!
Looks like all the UE prototypes I have laying around here will be moved to Godot or other engines
