I still support the paywave surcharge ban – the surcharges are at times absurd and often poorly labelled. The payment technology is good and should be available to everyone. The idea that people who don’t use payWave will be subsidising the service is poor economics.
It feels like a threat, and I know that it’s a warning and I know that it’s so fucking horrible because it’s not a warning for us but it feels like a threat.
