I think I might have just written the final scene of my book! There is going to be an epilogue, but I think that, in epiloguey fashion, I will need to wait a bit to write that. IT FEELS GOOD!
Very few things in life, I've found, bring me greater joy than when I write and it comes out even better than I had imagined it might because I was in the "zone" or the flow or whatever you call it. That energy, oh wow! I'm so so happy - two and a half more scenes and my novel is done. Nearly there!
