I do not know who this phone is meant to be for. The presence of Sailfish OS would indicate privacy focused individuals... but the heavily curated 'experience' which appears to be entirely reliant on a third party web store would likely *NOT* appeal to the same audience.
However I've yet to see anyone respond to it and go 'Why yes sir diggity dawg, that's the next device for me'.
Mainly it seems to be outright derision or just people as confused as me.
As a next move for the 'new' Commodore brand, it's confusing as fuck. Less doom-scrolling and internet dependence is good, but spending $500 or more on a device that could be a brick within a year of launch isn't.
I know it's not for me, I knew as soon as I saw one render it wasn't for me.
