thanks, qino 😁 this time, paid more attention to details and didn't just ink it immediately upon finishing the pencils. instead, left it for a day or two, then looked at it and fixed mistakes I found. wanted to have a proper action-y looking background too. but yeah, much happier with this version.
ah, well it's something I thought of based on the original pixellated design. there were cards floating in front of the character so was like, why not make them tarot? have several decks myself and love using them, so figured a demon using em would be interesting and different.

lol yeah, the chess theme was actually my sister's idea. she LOVES robots and androids. I based the pieces very loosely on the tridimensional chess set from tng so yeah, didn't really think too much into the whole thing 😅
