I'm prob only good at trumpet now, even though I was a HARDCORE horn player for 1/3 of my life.
I didn't appreciate how much harder horn was until I didn't play for a decade.
I was back up to speed on trumpet in a few days.
I have yet to get back to not sounding like a diarrhetic elephant on horn
lmfao this is the best sentence I’ve ever seen
Of these I'm only arguably proficient in the brass instruments.
I can play tunes on some of the others but I couldn't play a gig or sight read even basic shit
Me, looking at the handful of antique harmonicas I picked up recently sitting beside my new trumpet, my old french horn, my ukulele, my flute, my keyboard, my moog theremini...
I did get the launchpad x in hopes that I could start making weird music sampling a bit of all of these but I'm still deeply lost in the wilds of abletons steep learning curve that idk that y'all will see the fruits of this idea before society collapses at this point tbh
Trying to learn how to make music with Ableton and launchpad on my own has made me realize how much I was able to learn so quickly having french horn lessons and a school band with daily rehearsals and the guidance of band directors.
Happy Pride btw
I may have gone on a berry spree at the farmers market
(Not pictured: the raspberries I turned into compote this morning)
