That’s $770 MILLION in projected revenue for Pennsylvania, and a whole lot of economic opportunity for our communities.
Today, I met with Ontario Premier Doug Ford for a productive meeting focused on strengthening the economic ties between Pennsylvania and the Province of Ontario, particularly around key industries where we’re both poised for explosive growth like energy, manufacturing, and life sciences.
Together, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding detailing this shared commitment to growing our economies and creating a more economically prosperous future for all of our people.
By strengthening our working relationship with Canada’s most populous Province, we’re creating more economic opportunity for our businesses and communities in Pennsylvania and Canada alike.
Canada is Pennsylvania's largest international trading partner — and 77% of Pennsylvania exports to Canada go to Ontario.
These abandoned wells pollute our air and waterways, directly threatening the health and well-being of our farmers, families, and communities. We’re doing something about it here in Pennsylvania.
