Same general counsel who torpedoed Silverman days before her 2022 race (& lost unanimously on appeal) just dropped a half-assed report on JLG. Riddled with typos, impossible timelines, and internal drafting notes. Both times the beneficiary is McDuffie. Just incompetence or an in-kind contribution?

This report is certain to raise concerns (again) about OCF conducts its work. The allegations/conclusions aside, the report is in parts poorly written and has weird typos/notes-to-self. The timing is also interesting: Why dump this on Friday night four days before the election?

NEWS: The D.C. Office of Campaign Finance is fining @janeese4dc.bsky.social's campaign $16,000 for having "violated multiple provisions of District campaign finance law and the Fair Elections Program."
OCF is also fining the union-backed Safe & Affordable D.C. PAC $4,000.
