You really have to admire the persistence of the Albanian people.
This seems like logic but they already have this. Nothing works on merit. No this is a post that is class restrictive: H1B visas are good but family reunification immigration is bad. The latter brings “undesirable” immigrants while the former brings immigration in the control of billionaires
So we're going to get legislation making privacy a fundamental right at the same time as we get legislation forcing us to ID ourselves to use social media platforms and online services?
Refreshing honesty out in the wild...
eliminating a watchdog to hold canadian companies to account for human rights violations is exactly the kind of thing i’d expect bay street carney to do
It appears that many of the problems that mainstream politicians wring their hands about but do nothing to address are quite fixable if you want to govern for the people.
TEENY TINY TOAD ALERT!!!!! It was so small I thought it was a little jumping spider. But I was right next to the creek where the toads mate so I looked more carefully. I can not believe I actually got a decent photo. It was less than a centimeter from nose to butt & ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! #herps 🌿

Day 12 Tirana Albania: the streets as packed with protesters, it’s a multi-generational event that transcends all the Albanian society as a whole. Hands off Albania! 🇦🇱
Unlimited immigration without proper vetting or capacity planning is a recipe for societal chaos. It's not compassion, it's irresponsibility. We need rational, merit-based immigration that strengthens the nation, not overwhelms our infrastructure. Basic logic.
NEW: AI Minister Evan Solomon is expected to table legislation next week to modernize Canada’s privacy laws. The bill will make privacy a fundamental right, protect children and curb misuse of personal information, including for surveillance pricing.
In January, Zohran Mamdani took action against bankrupt landlord Pinnacle, which was responsible for over 5,000 housing violations. Thanks to his intervention, Pinnacle's new owners have forgiven millions in tenants' back rent. This is what governing for the people looks like.
