The FBI has been hit hardest by this admin. Current and former staff need legal help, mental health support, career resources, & a community that makes clear they are not alone.
The organization also noted that the memo had gone through "apolitical and impartial" reviews and had been resolved, calling the firings "nothing but partisan spite."
"Analysts' job is to look for potential threats and communicate them to leadership," said Stacey Young of Justice Connection. "These terminations will only cause them to pull back on areas they fear are politically divisive, leading to blind spots in the threat picture & underinformed policymakers."
