Only 0.5-0.75 in (1.2-1.9 cm) wide, it's easy to see why its called "daisy" though it's not a true daisy but a relative. Get lots that pop up around the property b/c it's a fast spreader.

Been sowing rudbeckia in the garden as well as the "Plants Gone Wild!" area out back for a few yrs now. I collected the seeds form a friend's garden. First one to bloom so far & I'm seeing them pop up all over.

The nice thing about using a macro lens is that, even in shade, the low f-stop & the lens design allows you crop heavily. In this case ~1/9th the original.
Then you get to see the surprises you didn't know were there 👀.
