Well, most of the FIFA world cup is being held in American football stadiums and those stadiums are in use for American football when the weather is cooler.
Some things I have learned recently:
The most recent world cups have been held in "hot" countries but in those countries WINTER. The World Cup Final in the US will likely be hotter than the Qatar World Cup for example.
