One of the biggest issues with the Nintendo eShop on the original Nintendo Switch system was the pesky lag which was readily apparent when you tried to navigate it. Today, Nintendo has released a native eShop app on the Nintendo Switch. The previous eShop was a web-based one, and it now performs a lot better than the previous eShop. While it hasn't completely eradicated the lag, it does appear to be a lot smoother experience. There's also the option to browse the eShop using Dark Mode, which is a bit better on the eyes.
