Ugh, some Gothic 1 Remake reviews really bother me... they're so passive-aggressive & snarky, like they can't respect people still liking Gothic in 2026. This and the edgy journo rants against Crimson Desert's design paint such a bad image... it's a very narrow view of what video games should be.

Sega posted actual gameplay footage of Crazy Taxi World Tour so there's something to go off of instead of the trailer, which didn't show anything. This looks bad. Like, very bad. The physics look weightless and I'm watching the gear shift and seeing it not move at all is appalling.
I'm curious why positioning-heavy action games (some aspects of Mina/AngEra/Castlevania/shmups/classic arcade) tend to be framed more as "janky/unfair", while memorization/animation-reaction types (mega man zero, souls, hollow knight) tend to be perceived as "tough but fair"
