Interestingly, THEM! is included in "Film Noir: The Encyclpedia" (the gold standard reference for the genre, IMO). You definitely see it in the cinematography, & the crime mystery/police procedural elements. At least up to the point where the story goes all 50s sci-fi monster movie weird! #TCMParty

A final thought: the most important, efficacious, & sizeable faction on the left is plain old normie Dems, "wine moms," "resistance libs," whatever condescending term you prefer. They're the ones doing the actual work. But they are largely ignored by media, because they're organized & led by women.
