Plasma 6.7 is out!
You can look forward to easier menu customization, better control over your mics, and, as for virtual desktops, you get keyboard navigation and the much anticipated feature of having separate virtual desktops on different monitors.

sdl detects the controller itself but i then get no input out of it
repost to scare a nix user
if u cant get a steam controller for whatever reason you'll be more than happy with a dualsense
dawg why the fuck is an uncaptioned photo of a steam controller blowing up for no reason
apparently support for it is in a currently unreleased version of sdl so i'll have to check back with that in a couple of weeks
in the meantime i'll see if i can hack together something with uinput like i've done for other controllers in the past
low key this thing actually kind of sucks without a proper driver that isn't steam input
i can't get sdl's support for it to work on my machine
its otherwise just HID so in theory it shouldn't be too hard to write a userspace driver leveraging uinput
with my recent $99 disappointment i should remind everyone that the dualsense is a close second for controllers that are great with steam input
it has like 80% of the featureset with a currently much better driver situation
