mainly its just the bit about not listening to the "make small games" advice.
this is because: going to art school, ive come to the realization that the principal sin of every artist is unbound ambition.
you must carve a smaller buddha. and then another. and so on
but also i think maybe my own desires are too vibe-centric and so i dont see the value in more expansive things that can dilute that vibe
i like the no one is going to buy your game manifesto. i slightly disagree with some finer points but thats just my own artistic vision colliding with someone else's
of course im not a game dev. my personal villain origin story is that pieces that should have taken me an hour or two took me 10 because i was too perfectionist, and i think 10 short pieces teach more than 1 long one
they keep trying to tell my my bra strap is showing but it's the scabbard of my divine blade
i liked this a lot the first time i read it, but i like it even more now that ive seen it get reposted to r/gamedev and having made a bunch of Marketing Baby Geniuses there very upset
