People need good, dignified jobs with economic security and material resources.

This is bad, incredibly bad. Wiping out the National Science Foundation board kills …. Everything at NSF, flatlines NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research), our Antarctica program, our geophysics programs, just… everything, the entire foundation of science in the United States.

The Department of Education is finalizing a rule that would judge college programs based on how much money graduates make after leaving school. Programs whose graduates don’t earn enough compared to their student debt would lose access to federal student loans.
