I do not fully trust critics who are not both lovers and haters. All I want is for you to have some kind of taste, some kind of ethic, and I want you to argue in favor of it, which should inevitably mean that you greatly admire some works in your chosen field and definitely don’t admire others.
like this is totally a me problem, enjoy what you enjoy, but I've come away from basically every game remake I've ever played thinking that I would've enjoyed it more if I had no idea the original existed
man I really enjoy going into new games mostly blind. I don't want to know THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE PLAYING insert game here, and I think this is a big reason why remakes basically never do it for me, there's just too much baggage, too much expectation. I know too much. how do i delete memories
instead of all these remakes someone should make a third game in the Stuntman serie-- hold the fort
points deducted for having a sniper rifle that you cant use the scope on though. whats that about
I haven't finished it yet but I'm loving the writing and visual direction/bravado of it all. Every location has a REALLY strong sense of place which you'd expect from the Hitman devs. It does indulge in more slow walking and linear design than I expected, but I'm just delighting in the ride for now
