Alina Burns, 19, of Lynton Road in Bristol, admitted attempting to murder Mohammed Mahmoodi, outside a barber's shop in Bristol. Burns approached Mahmoodi from behind and swung the axe at his neck. He was able to wrestle the weapon away from her before she could strike him again.
A 19-year-old approached the victim from behind and swung an axe at his neck.
