Sweeping omnibus Bill C-30 was pushed to a vote after just three hours of debate. Buried in it is Division 8, which weakens protections from toxic pesticides. So when Elizabeth May was asked how the Greens would vote?

A wrecking ball comes to mind. These plans are an egregious attempt to frame environmental protections and Indigenous consultation as obstacles, rather than essential safeguards for communities, ecosystems, and future generations.
