The next Open House for @ridebluebikes.bsky.social stations in Hyde Park, Roslindale, and West Roxbury is tonight, and it's virtual! Register and join at tinyurl.com/expansion-june
PWD crews are hard at work this weekend, sweeping streets, cleaning up litter, and patching roads throughout the city to help keep our neighborhoods clean and safe.
Our Street Lighting Division was busy this weekend continuing lighting upgrades along Cambridge Street, Washington Street (Dorchester), Cross Street, and Commonwealth Avenue.
We're studying how the intersection at Bennington Street and Saratoga Street in East Boston works to identify safety issues as our first step in the Bennington & Saratoga Safety Project. Please take our 2-min survey to give feedback: engagement.jmgoldson.com/BenningtonSaratoga/
Open Newbury dates are here for the 2026 season! We’re so excited that Boston’s beloved summer tradition is returning for its tenth year of car-free Newbury Street along the mile-long, eight-block stretch from Berkeley Street to Massachusetts Avenue. boston.gov/open-newbury
@mayorwu.boston.gov said it best: “Every year, Newbury Street comes alive as neighbors, shoppers, and visitors enjoy one of our most iconic streets.” This year, Open Newbury will run from 10 a.m until 6 p.m on ten Sundays, beginning on July 12. Visit boston.gov/open-newbury for more info!
Join the City to learn more about the Claybourne / Tonawanda Safety Project and share your vision for the intersection with us. Your feedback will help inform and shape future safety improvements! Register for this public meeting on June 17 at 6:00 p.m. at boston.gov/claybourne-tonawanda
PWD crews & contractors are out bright and early resurfacing Essex St. & Chauncy St. in Downtown Boston. Curious if your street is being resurfaced this construction season? You can view the full list here: www.boston.gov/departments/...
We are investing in making changes to the Claybourne / Tonawanda intersection to improve street safety and park access. We will develop a design that reflects community priorities, enhances the experience for all users, and supports Dorchester’s growth. boston.gov/claybourne-tonawanda
The City's free Learn-to-Bike program helps adults learn, relearn, and get more comfortable riding a bicycle! Bikes and helmets are provided. Some workshops are offered for women and gender-diverse people, and others are open to all. Register and learn more: boston.gov/adults-bike
