The thing is is that it’s an out-of-state wealthy vegan advocate who is trying to move the Overton window and he thinks he’s gonna use Oregon to do it and so many people have been hoodwinked because these canvassers are not telling the truth.

By the way, it would also make it illegal to trap mice and rats. It would make it illegal for people to raise their own livestock on their own farm. It’s ideologically incredibly fringe but the goal is move the Overton window.
Most traditional fishing grounds in Oregon are not on tribal land, and the vegan activists pushing this proposal would want to make it illegal for indigenous people to hunt and fish on their traditional grounds… which are on stolen land.

Did you just frantically google to try to find evidence for your claim? Because that’s not “climate scientists” and you specifically made an appeal to authority for that profession. That is PCRM. They have a strong bias for vegan ideology and are not even remotely an evidence-based unbiased source.
Also framing all climate scientists as vegan advocates is wrong and a blatant “ad verecundiam” fallacy. There is no consensus amongst climate scientist that a vegan diet must be taken up by everyone… many climate scientists actually advocate for eat less factory farmed meat.
