Democrats really don't understand their base is actually small and people mostly just vote for them just to keep republicans out. Them scolding those parties will make them hit reality soon enough.

So funny that they try to appeal to “moderate Republicans” when essentially they currently occupy the same place on the political spectrum. So they are appealing to voters more like themselves.
There aren’t enough “Vote Blue No Matter Who” Democrats to win elections on their own. They think they need to appeal to mythical. Moderate Republicans, yet they insult Republicans daily. The other option is trying to appeal to the left, who they also berate daily. Not much of a plan.
