Reading Wagner’s Ring has been fun and fascinating-I thought a lot about @nathankhensley.bsky.social’s Action without Hope (which comes to characterise Wotan’s behaviour thru the cycle)-as it’s about extraction of the Rhinegold, breaches of contract, & violence against women, ending in apocalypse
