So my little clip on the place of punishment in OBSESSION has gotten over 25.8k views on Instagram - which is a lot for me - and the comments have been overwhelmingly supportive of the (let's be honest, pretty fucking obvious) read that Bear is the villain.
That said, there is one person who is arguing with anyone who will have him that Bear is actually the victim. And that feels like a pretty representative breakdown of the online experience: the assholes are few, but they're loud, and we too often create the conditions for them to flourish.
