Today marks 10 years since Pulse. At the time we lived in the US and I was finishing this embroidery sampler for an exhibition. I ended up stitching my rage and grief into the ‘frame’ to honour the ones we lost. Never forget🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

40yo me might not be impressed with the distance (6.5km) or pace (6:19/km) but I’m choosing to look at it with gratitude: I can still run at 51, something I know too well not to take for granted. Bonus: running in the jockstrap my bf brought back from his IMLBB travels.
Happy start to the week: did 43 push-ups (in a single set), upping my previous best by three. Still way off hubby’s 60, but it’s a competition with myself anyway eh. Overall great session with Coach, too.
