Adore this grainy Polaroid of hubby and me from early 2002. We think it’s the first photo of us together; we met in November 2001. It also hit me today that I’m now closer to 70 than I am to 30. Growing old is a privilege but it reminded me not to wait to get done what I want to get done.

Today marks 10 years since Pulse. At the time we lived in the US and I was finishing this embroidery sampler for an exhibition. I ended up stitching my rage and grief into the ‘frame’ to honour the ones we lost. Never forget🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

Happy start to the week: did 43 push-ups (in a single set), upping my previous best by three. Still way off hubby’s 60, but it’s a competition with myself anyway eh. Overall great session with Coach, too.
