when Tomoe was tiny she really really wanted to see what I was doing anytime i put the kettle on but she was too wee to get onto the counter and also i was worried about her getting hurt on the kettle so i got into the habit of putting her on my shoulder so she could Survey what i was doing

anyway on the positive side i survived work and get to start an hour and a half later every day this week and also Tomoe is officially naked again and Shoulder Time occurred.

and so now anytime i make tea she yells at me until i pick her up and put her on my shoulder
also Ishtar can tell when Fatigue™ is happening and will yell at me continuously until I lie down and she can lie on top of me and do the Unimpressed Ears and look. cats are just Good, okay.

Well I did like 5 hours of work and now have a headache so at least that shuts up the weirdo ableist part of my brain that thinks I am definitely making up how bad I'm doing 🌈
