I believe that any Democrat, candidate or elected official, should face a Primary challenge if they support the war in Iran. That is why I am supporting a primary challenge to Rebecca Cooke: she is a faux-progressive Warhawk, and she is not right for the Valley.
Keeping trans women out of sports isn’t about fairness—if it was, then why kick us out of co-ed sports like fencing and pool?
Because it’s not about fairness—it’s about exclusion. It’s about erasing us from the public eye.
Today, many of these racist views have returned to the South, or perhaps they never left due to the failure of Reconstruction. Regardless, the South has become a hateful, hyper-religious place much like it was in the 1800’s, and it is time for the federal government to take action.
