And ICYMI, the seventh largest metro area in the United States no longer has a single dedicated housing reporter after @atlantaciviccircle.org was forced to shut down last week.
As they continued to expose Andre Dickens' corruption, local philanthropic funding magically dried up:

The Atlanta Civic Circle is closing due to a lack of funding.
This is a critical problem for the city, and we need our readers to act on it.

And to give you a sense of how Sisyphean this fight against authoritarianism in Atlanta, the amount of money Andre Dickens funneled to these astroturfing lobbyists for this initiative alone is enough to fully fund @thexylom.com's operations until 2028, and @atlpresscollective.com for a whole year.
The committee finally votes on the ordinance. Westmoreland abstains. Bond votes no. Everyone else votes yay.
The legislation moves on to FEC for another vote tomorrow.
