Very WIP still but made enough progress on the first aid minigame for Heat Retreat to whip up a video of the gameplay in action! There are bugs (like health meter & timer) and tuning/balance to do, and art needs polish, but it's been too long since I've had anything worth showing π

the concept here is you start an action (pressure/clean/disinfect/dress) and to 100% the action you need to stop in the blue section, stopping early or skipping steps are valid strategies to save time/resources but there are consequences like susceptibility to infection later in the game
Uh oh, looks like I walked in on the boss doing a surprise code review; the mini game isn't done yet! I swear I'll clean it up before I merge π
I've largely avoided Win11, and even 10 I didn't use for much, but I set up a Win11 VM the other day to test my game in and...what an awful, awful experience. It's like the Cybertruck of software: over priced, misanthropic crap that's falling apart at the seams

Looks like the Arch Linux AUR (Arch User Repository) needs some better security and package checks - as some malicious users compromised a lot of packages.

This release includes assert_matches!(), new range types in core::range::*, and fixes for a medium and a low severity vulnerability in Cargo (that didn't affect cratesβ.io users).
