Horror films have been operating as a separate functional economy than the rest of Hollywood and I don’t get why they can’t see how this can apply to other types of films. Fresher ideas, lower budgets, less slathering of digital slop on a big screen.
For me, no-one in comics has ever bettered Steve Ditko’s ability to suggest other dimensions so alien that human consciousness can barely begin to make sense of them, as here, from 1965’s Doctor Strange tale “If Eternity Should Fail”.
