Once again, the Supreme Court fails to do any meaningful analysis about what makes a classification "suspect" or "quasi-suspect" and just decides to shit on the political scapegoat of the moment.
For decades, we’ve had a vicious cycle of
1) Republicans gain power & wreck the government & economy
2) Democrats win but can’t fix major problems due to GOP obstruction & an electoral system biased toward GOP
3) GOP wins back power by blaming Dems for problems the GOP largely caused
4) Repeat
the democrats could easily out-message the republicans on trans rights, but they do not want to. they know what works and what doesn't and they will keep doing what doesn't work on purpose
