Beyond the theft and plagiarism, the most stomach turning part of it is that with a few mouse clicks, any loser can have a frankensteined book-shaped thing without doing the work. They can cheat themselves into consideration as was never previously possible. Some are even breaking all the way…

Can trace their lineages back centuries & probably participated in chattel slavery (see Benedict Cumberbatch), you’re prob not getting in. This goes for the industry professionals too, who are mostly middle class, get bills that stress them out and run their own errands & take public transit
