Another fun fact: the sweater was also gosling’s doing. They filmed in the UK and he was obsessed with the urban foxes around London. He sprinkled foxes all over the film (a fox keychain, a fox mask, and the sweater) to delight his children. He made this film, in large part, for them.
The skirt belongs to Ilyukhina, one of his crewmates who died. She was really funny, and a beloved character in the book. Milana Vayntrub, the actress who played her, only got a few lines, but she nailed each one. And was delightful in her non-speaking scenes. I freaking love Ily!
