All Hallows by the Tower. Purbeck marble altar tomb of Alderman John Croke (c.1416-1477) destroyed in the air-raid of 1940., restored from over 150 fragments. He was a member of the Worshipful Company of Skinners. #MonumentsMonday

Sheep and sheepdog kneelers , St Mary’s, Kentisbeare, Devon. Rebuilt between 1500 and 1515 on the proceeds of the Devon wool trade. Local cloth merchant John Whytyng funded a new south aisle and possibly the rood screen. #TextileTuesday #churchkneelers
